International Silk Road Conference will be organized in Tbilisi, Georgia, October 14-15, 2021. Gathering of top professionals in the fields of Politics, Journalism, Economics, History, Art, Literature, Culture, Public Administration, Law, Business, and Technology will cater for a wholesome environment dedicated to practices, challenges and opportunities we are experiencing in this modern world.

The conference will provide its distinguished participants with a unique chance to initiate discussion on important global and regional events and urgent problems.

The conference is open to local as well as international participants.

Submission Guidelines

Applicants willing to participate in the conference are invited to submit their abstracts in English or Georgian language complying with the requirements mentioned below:

  • No more than 300 words.
  • English: MS Word (A4 format, Times New Roman, font size 12).
  • Georgian: MS Word (A4 format, Sylfaen, font size 11).
  • A title not exceeding 15 words.
  • Include: title of the paper, author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es).
  • Keywords.

Applicants willing to participate in the conference are invited to submit their full papers in English or Georgian language complying with the requirements mentioned below:

  • No more than 3000 words, including tables and references..
  • English: MS Word (A4 format, Times New Roman, font size 12).
  • Georgian: MS Word (A4 format, Sylfaen, font size 11).
  • A title not exceeding 15 words.
  • Abstract.
  • All papers are expected to include: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings/discussions; Conclusions/implications; List of references.
  • All papers should follow APA6 requirements for citation and referencing.
  • Georgian paper should also include an English abstract along with the Georgian one.

GUIDELINES FOR FULL PAPERS

Please submit your abstracts through the REGISTRATION button on this page, and send your full papers to silkroad@ibsu.edu.ge in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format indicating SR2019 in the subject line. Authors will be notified within 2-3 weeks after submission.

Visa and Accommodation

  • Georgia welcomes many nationalities through a visa-free regime. However, please check www.evisa.gov.ge for specific visa requirements (if any).
  • Participants are encouraged to book their places of stay online in advance.
