International Black Sea University is organizing 4th International Conference on History, Art, Literature and Culture in South Caucasus and Black Sea Region, together with our partner universities, namely: Akaki Tsereteli State University, Batumi Art Teaching University, Apolon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Art, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

The Conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners and policy makers to discuss issues, tackle real challenges, develop professionally, share opinions, find solutions and explore opportunities in the areas of history, art, literature and culture in Black Sea Region and South Caucasus.

The conference is open to local as well as international participants.

Applicants must hold at least a Master's Degree.

Proposals for presentation can be submitted in English, Georgian or Russian.

Applicants willing to participate in the conference are invited to submit their abstracts in English or Georgian language complying with the requirements mentioned below:

  • No more than 300 words.
  • English: MS Word (A4 format, Times New Roman, font size 12).
  • Georgian: MS Word (A4 format, Sylfaen, font size 11).
  • A title not exceeding 15 words
  • Include: title of the paper, author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es).
  • Keywords

Please submit your abstracts through the REGISTRATION button on this page, and send your full papers to halc@ibsu.edu.ge in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format indicating HALC2019 in the subject line. Authors will be notified within 2-3 weeks after submission.

  • Georgia welcomes many nationalities through a visa-free regime. However, please check www.evisa.gov.ge for specific visa requirements (if any).
  • Participants are encouraged to book their places of stay online in advance.

FEES

The regular registration fee for each paper (regardless of the co-authors) is $50 for international participants and GEL50 for local participants.The registration fee for the second paper (regardless of the co-authors) is $20 for international participants and 20 GEL for local participants.
