7 th International Research Conference on Education, Language and Literature

The Faculty of Education and Humanities is organising the 7 th International Research Conference on Education, Language and Literature (IRCEELT 2017) which is held on 21-22 April 2017 at International Black Sea University
The scope of the conference embraces interesting disciplines: education, history of education, educational psychology, classroom management, educational leadership, management and administration, methods of teaching English, using information communication technologies in teaching and learning, Anglo-American linguistics, culture and literature.


The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, practitioners and policy makers to discuss issues, tackle real challenges, develop professionally, share opinions, find solutions and explore opportunities in the areas of education. The conference serves the purpose of promoting a tight link between theory and practice and explores different perspectives on the application of research findings into practice.
The conference usually attracts participants from 26 different countries: Georgia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Greece, Israel, Sweden, Turkey, Russian Federation, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, India, Jordan, Oman, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Nigeria, and South Africa.


The working language for the conference is English. The presented papers cover a wide
range of topic:
 Education (history, philosophy, psychology, theoretical issues in education)
 Classroom management
 Education leadership, management and administration
 Methods of teaching languages (innovation and effectiveness)
 Innovations and effective practices in education and language teaching
 Computer-assisted teaching
 Anglo-American linguistics and literature
 Language and culture

Round Table Discussions

On April 4, Business Management Faculty held fourth series of “Round Table Discussions”. Under the scope of the event invited guest Giorgi Abdushelishvili. The topic of the discussion was "Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills”.

5th Annual Student Conference at the Faculty of Education and Humanities

On March 31st the Faculty of Education and Humanities, International Black Sea University organized 5th Annual Student Conference covering a variety of topics – English language, English language teaching, Anglo-American literature and linguistics, American studies, education, education administration, etc.

Master Class in Event Planning & Management

With the initiative of Institute of Postgraduate Studies at the International Black Sea University, the Professors at Zayed University, Dubai, Noela Michael and Ian Michael delivered the master class for Students and Representatives of Georgian Companies in Event Planning & Management.  The Participants were awarded with the Certificates.

Agreement of Cooperation

The Faculty of Education and Humanities, the International Black Sea University, Tbilisi, Georgia and the School of Continuing Education, the American University in Cairo, Cairo, Egypt signed Agreement of Cooperation.
