Visit from Kozminski University

On June 14, IBSU hosted the Head of International Business Communication Sector of Kozminski University, Dr. Halina Wisniewska, as a part of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program. She met with the Head and employees of International Relations Office and delivered the public lecture on: “Intercultural Competence in International Human Resources Management”.

Closing the project on “Nationalist Narratives and Memory Formation in the Countries of the Former Communist Block”

On June 12 the project on “Nationalist Narratives and Memory Formation in the Countries of the Former Communist Block” was finalized with closing ceremony in the format of round table. Within the framework of the project participant students from Tbilisi State University and International Black Sea University presented their research papers which were published as a special issue of the International Black Sea University Journal of Social Sciences.

Training in International Criminal Justice

on June 12, IBSU is hosting the three-day training sessions in “International Criminal Justice”, initiating by the René Cassin Foundation - International Institute for Human Rights of Strasbourg (France). 
This project is designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of regional and international instruments for the protection of human rights, and to provide them with adequate legal reflexes to prevent and deal with violations of fundamental rights.

USAID’s Project G4G

On June 6 the Faculty of Business Management in the framework of USAID’s Project G4G hosted a public lecture of Mrs. Camelia Bulat – “The Role of Associations and Its Development”.

Camelia Bulat discussed the role of business associations, the specificity of it compared to companies and public institutions and the main elements of this type of organizations. She also talked about issues related to creating business associations. Public lecture also offered team works.

"Transparency International - Georgia"

On May 31st the Executive Director of "Transparency International - Georgia" Eka Gigauri delivered the lecture for the students of the International Black Sea University. The guest speaker addressed the issues of corruption, in particular the meaning of corruption as well as its types.
