Faculty of Social Sciences is pleased to announce the submission of scientific articles for the IBSU Journal of Social Studies. 

Professors, Researchers and even the brilliant students of M.A. and Ph.D. programs are welcome to publish their research papers in IBSU Journal of Social Studies (IBSUJSS).
- The articles will be checked by experienced reviewers and be published in the Journal.
- The papers can be conducted in any field of Social Studies including: history, politics, defense and security, legal issues, economy, etc.
- The papers should be presented:
  • In English;
  • Must not exceed 8-15 pages (Times New Roman, size-12, line spacing-1,5);
  • Should include half page abstract in English and Georgian;
- The author guidelines will be sent via e-mail, after contacting us;  
- All participants are requested:
  • To present research papersabstract and Personal Information (name, position, degree, telephone, e-mail)

IBSU Journal of Business – Author Guides

  1. Papers must be in English.
  2. Submit manuscripts electronically to ibsujb@ibsu.edu.ge
  3. 3.       The first page of the manuscript should contain:

(i)      the title

(ii)    an abstract of 50-200 words.

(iii)   JEL categories

(iv)  5 keywords at least

  1. 4.       Manuscripts requirements:

(i)        should be 1.5 spaced,

(ii)       use Times New Roman font in 12 pt. type

(iii)     maintain a 1-inch (2.5-cm) side, top, and bottom margin

(iv)     use A4 paper format

(v)      should not be exceeding 15 pages in volume

(vi)     equations and symbols should be typed as well.

(vii)   Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively.

(viii)  Subtitles should be numbered consecutively (1., 1.1., 1.2., 2., 2.1., 2.2., etc.)

  1. 5.       Style of formatting

IBSUJB employs APA style of formatting. References should be listed at the end of the main text in alphabetical order. They should be cross-referenced in the text by using the author's name and publication date in the style of Gorman (1996), or (Cowley, 2000: 46-54). (see appendix – APA Style rules)

  1. 6.       Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice

IBSU Journal of Business (IBSUJB) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the IBSUJB for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors' contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it. In the same manner, the IBSUJB is committed to objective and fair double-blind peer-review of the submitted for publication works and to prevent any actual or potential conflict of interests between the editorial and review personnel and the reviewed material. Any departures from the above-defined rules should be reported directly to the Editor, who is unequivocally committed to providing swift resolutions to any of such a type of problem

 

Any paper submitted to the IBSU Journal of Business (IBSUJB) should NOT be under consideration for publication at another journal.

 

Papers that are submitted to the IBSUJB for publication should not be under review at other journals.
